Although companies are increasingly relying on M&A to reach their growth targets, recent studies indicate that as many as 70% of M&A deals fail to meet set goals. Despite the high stakes, M&A is said to be among the least developed managerial processes, where most companies lack proper processes and practical tools. At Midaxo, our mission is to help you succeed in M&A.
Our Free service is the easiest way for any company to design their own, tailor-made M&A process, based on a proven framework.
Our Premium service enables systematic and efficient execution of world-class M&A and post-merger integration (PMI) processes, allowing companies to focus on value creation, people motivation and cultural understanding.
Founded in December 2010, we are an ambitious, born-global startup. Midaxo is a privately-held company, majority-owned by its co-founders, and has been supported by the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation. Midaxo is based in Helsinki, Finland.

We develop innovative and practical SaaS solutions and iteratively improve them based on real-life experiences. Our Core Team
Kaija Katariina Erkkila (Co-founder, CEO)
Kaija Katariina is a recognized M&A and integration expert. While working in senior management positions, both in Europe and the USA, Kaija Katariina participated in several international M&A and integration projects. She is a recognized author on M&A issues and has worked as a consultant for many global companies. Her latest publication (with Anneli Valpola) is M&A Coach - Value from Integration. In addition to M&A, she also has had significant experience in sales, marketing and general management.

Kalle Kilpi (Co-founder, COO, Products & Services)
Kalle is a successful software entrepreneur. He has previously founded Aspida Ltd and co-founded the related company Suomen Tilaajavastuu Oy (which has over 7000 customers). Kalle specializes in product management, customer experience management and developing associated services. At Aspida, Kalle initiated several successful product and service concepts.

Iiro Sinisalo (Co-founder, CTO)
Iiro is an experienced technical architect and developer. As the Chief Technical Architect at Aspida, Iiro specialized in innovative product architectures, agile implementation methods, utilizing partnership networks and crowd-sourcing. Iiro’s skills and talent in creating rich user interfaces for web applications and high quality technical architecture has been recognized by several technical auditors.
