Midaxo vs. Dealroom
See why top M&A teams trust Midaxo to run the whole deal.
Midaxo runs the full deal lifecycle, strategy through realized value.
Learn why DealRoom users are making the switch.

No platform is right for every buyer. Here is where each one earns its place.
Choose Midaxo if
You want one system across the full lifecycle, from strategy work before a deal is sourced to the value tracking after it closes
Your team cares whether deals deliver the value thesis, not only whether they close
You operate in a regulated industry: Midaxo supports HIPAA with BAA, ISO 27001:2022, and GDPR
You need AI with enterprise governance: answers grounded in your own deal content with sources you can check, no training on your data, and full audit trails
Your deals range from mid-market roll-ups to enterprise carve-outs, and you want proof the platform has handled both
DealRoom may fit if
You are buy-side only and specifically want a workflow built around the diligence-to-integration handoff, with no plans to use strategy or value tracking in the platform
You are moving off a basic data room for the first time and want a simple entry point
Every deal is approved on a value thesis. Midaxo sets it in the strategy stage, carries it through diligence and integration, and tracks it in the Value Tracker until the value is realized. DealRoom stops at integration and post-close synergy tracking.
Integration itself is strong on both sides; Midaxo's proof runs up to the largest corporate separation on record. If your team is measured on delivered value, that is the difference that matters.
If your team is measured on delivered value, not closed deals, that is the difference that matters.

Ask Midaxo AI questions of your own deal content and get answers with sources you can check, in every phase of the lifecycle.
The governance holds up in a security review: it runs inside Midaxo's own AWS Bedrock environment, your data is never used to train models, every AI action lands in the audit log, and you own everything it generates. You decide where AI runs, process by process, and who can use it.
Midaxo supports HIPAA with Business Associate Agreements, holds ISO 27001:2022, is GDPR-aligned, participates in CSA STAR, and runs annual independent penetration tests. DealRoom does not publish HIPAA support.
If your diligence involves patient or clinical data, that shows up in your security review, not just in a feature list.

HPE ran the largest corporate separation on record on Midaxo. Daimler and WellMed run their deal work on it, and so do serial acquirers like RapidFire, Allstar Services, and NCS Engineers. More than $1T in transaction value across 5,000+ deals.
Whatever your scale, we can introduce you to a customer who operates at it. Ask for a reference call early, not at the end.
"We needed a repeatable process that delivered consistent quality and results—and a platform to support that."

"When competing for the same deal, being the easiest to transact with often wins it. Midaxo helps us do that."

Straight answers to the questions that come up when teams compare platforms.
No. The standard playbook library is included as part of every paid engagement, covering the full lifecycle from strategy frameworks to value tracking templates. Some premium playbook content is priced separately on paper and in practice typically bundled into customer agreements at no additional cost.
Yes. Every due diligence task in Midaxo links directly to its document tab, so you are one click from the relevant document scope. It is a different navigation model than a per-request file link, and it is the same outcome: the request and its documents stay connected.
Reviews run through Tasks and RAID items. The reviewer receives the assigned task with the relevant document attached, and the same pattern extends to project-level reviews. It is a different design pattern than a dedicated reviewer role, with the same outcome, and it stays integrated with the accountability framework the rest of your deal runs on.
Yes, at the task level, directly in the UI, which is where the need most often arises in active deal work. Project-level bulk changes run through an Excel import workflow. We have deliberately kept cross-deal project bulk edits out of the primary UI: when a team needs to make the same change to many deals at once on a regular basis, that is usually worth a look at the pipeline itself.
Yes. Midaxo manages deal documents with secure access controls, granular permissions, integrated Q&A, and full audit trails, connected to the diligence tasks and workflows around them rather than sitting in a separate tool.
Your data is never used to train models. AI operations are isolated to your tenant and run inside Midaxo's own AWS Bedrock environment. Every AI action is captured in audit logs, and you own the IP of everything generated. You decide where AI runs, process by process, and who can use it.
